Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalence; completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of a formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of shift production, assigning tasks and monitoring procedures to meet standards.
• Instructs production technicians and outsourced labor on safe operation of equipment and monitors usage.
• Reviews records to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspects product to ensure quality.
• Maintains equipment condition and promotes effective interdepartmental communication.
• Ensures a safe working environment and enforces safety policies; plans work assignments across production phases.
• May operate facility metal detectors; must be trained and certified where applicable.
• Supports training, discipline processes, attendance, and overall policy compliance.
