Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
• Completion of High School diploma or equivalence. Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Directs shift production, assigns tasks, and monitors procedures to meet standards.
• Instructs production technicians and outsourced labor on safe operation of equipment.
• Reviews records to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspects product quality.
• Maintains equipment in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental cooperation.
• Ensures a safe working environment through enforcement of safety policies.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all production phases.
• Operates facility metal detector and ensures training/certification.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and attendance.
• Performs other duties as needed.
