Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in Miami, FL to contribute to all phases of the production process. You will operate automated production equipment, diagnose machinery issues, assist with preventative maintenance, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Rotation across job assignments may occur, with responsibilities across SCALER/DIVIDER, WRAPPING, and PALLETIZER roles. The role requires a minimum of two years of bakery or production experience and a high school

Qualifications

• Two years related bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, responsibilities include but are not limited to: checks and maintains production schedule, scales ingredients, loads, operates and unloads mixer(s), operates dough pump, checks weights and equipment standards, and ensures a clean, safe work area.
• When job assignment is WRAPPING OPERATOR, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: checks production schedule, verifies product running order, sets and operates slicer, bagger, and tier equipment, performs quality control inspection of finished product, and maintains sanitation and safety.
