Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Production Operator to join our bakery production team. You will contribute to all phases of the production process, operate automated equipment, diagnose minor issues, participate in preventative maintenance, and help maintain a safe, clean workplace.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, operating equipment for scaling/dividing, dough pumping, and quality checks, with emphasis on safety and adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Two years related bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, responsibilities include but are not limited to: checks and maintains production schedule; scales ingredients; loads, operates and unloads mixer(s).
• Operates dough pump and checks posted scaling weights and equipment standards.
• Adjusts and operates dividers, rounder, and overhead proofer; performs sanitation and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures the work area is clean and organized; performs other duties as directed by supervision.
