Job summary

Cérélia North America is seeking a Production Operator for our Whitehall, Ohio facility. You will operate and monitor production equipment in a food manufacturing setting, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities include start-up checks, process adjustments, lot tracking, and on-line quality verification. Must be able to work varied shifts and use basic computer tools; training on SAP barcode scanning is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• 1–3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Able to follow written instructions and operate machinery.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps.
• Flexibility to work off-shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment prior to start-up and document observations on start-up/shutdown checklists.
• Adjust processing equipment to meet quality standards and customers' specifications.
• Document lot numbers, dough temperatures, and fat percentages; communicate deviations.
• Perform on-line bake-offs and verify results against quality standards.
• Report accidents or maintenance issues to the production supervisor.
• Operate high-speed processing and packaging equipment following SOPs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery; coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Calibrate processing and packaging systems to meet specs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas during production.
• Perform changeovers and end-of-run cleans; disassemble/reassemble as needed.
• Log downtime and issues in CMMS for trend analysis.
