Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S/B.A. in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education or minimum of 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Must understand FDA and OSHA regulations.
• Must have experience evaluating work processes and systems for efficiencies and operational flow.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of automated manufacturing processes/packaging technology, GMP and industry standards.
• Preferred dough experience but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production shifts and supervise the production team to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Monitor KPI’s of the production team’s performance including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor hours, and ensure targets are met.
• Ensure total production process is controlled, SOPs followed, and product quality and specifications adhered to.
• Work with maintenance to minimize downtime and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Provide coaching, training, and onboarding; participate in hiring decisions when needed.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to maximize profit and reduce costs.
