Job summary

Cérélia North America in Whitehall, OH seeks a seasoned Production Supervisor to lead multiple production shifts, monitor KPI performance, and ensure GMP compliance. This role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S./B.A. in Business Administration or equivalent, plus 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, with knowledge of FDA/OSHA regulations and lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S/B.A. in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education or minimum of 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Must understand FDA and OSHA regulations.
• Must have experience evaluating work processes and systems for efficiencies and operational flow.
• Knowledge and implementation of lean manufacturing principles is preferred but not required
• Knowledge and familiarity with automated manufacturing process/packaging technology, GMP and industry standards
• Preferred dough experience but not required

Responsibilities

• Flexes across all 3 production shifts to cover for other supervisors.
• Tracks KPI’s of the production team’s performance including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor hours, and ensures targets are met.
• Monitors the total production process, equipment, process methodology, maintenance work orders, SOPs, product quality, yields and safety.
• Oversees safety, quality, productivity targets for production, sanitation, and logistics.
• Leads team meetings, hires and trains new employees, and develops training plans.
