Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible production supervision experience.
• Professional level knowledge in a specialized field equivalent to a 4 year college degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergen, & traceability and other compliance requirements of a commercial bakery.
• Direct oversight of SOP’s within department.
• A high level of analytical ability is required.
• Ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to work in a fast paced work environment.
• Superior communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Good Computer Skills - Windows Office, Outlook, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and control bakery production activities.
• Establish production schedules and monitor performance against budget.
• Staff the bakery and oversee training and discipline.
• Run test dough to support new product development.
• Ensure safety practices and regulatory compliance in the plant.
• Adhere to company policies and Franz Core Values.
