Job summary

Franz Family Bakery is hiring an experienced Baking Production Foreman for its West Jordan, UT facility. You will oversee production lines for pastries and baked goods, directing shifts to meet quality and schedule targets while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires at least two years of team leadership in production, bakery experience, and proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook. English is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience leading a team in a production environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Bakery experience is a must.
• Additional training in safety or related areas is a plus.
• Must speak English; Spanish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate department activities on the shift to ensure quality products on schedule.
• Ensure equipment is properly set up for start-up and continuous operation.
• Monitor production for proper slicing, packaging and coding.
• Collaborate with engineering for equipment adjustments to maintain quality and schedule.
• Ensure adequate packaging supplies for a smooth production run.
• Train employees to standards including Safety, Quality, Cost and Service.
