Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading employees and production activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to travel less than 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production and Training operations to ensure the continuous flow of safe, high-quality products that meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize production schedules, labor, ingredients, and resources to meet demand while maximizing operational and cost efficiency.
• Drive food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety compliance in partnership with Quality Assurance and other bakery functions.
• Resolve operational, quality, customer, and safety issues through effective investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop supervisors, leads, and production team members through coaching, performance management, training, succession planning, and recognition.
• Collaborate across bakery functions to strengthen communication, support audits, execute improvement initiatives, and achieve bakery objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement by evaluating processes, implementing effective solutions, managing change, and supporting special projects.
