Job summary

Accelera in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Production Team Lead (Bakery) to oversee daily manufacturing operations, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced food production environment.

You will coordinate production schedules, coach supervisors, ensure GMP/USDA/BRC compliance, and partner with maintenance and QA to remove bottlenecks while pursuing continuous improvement and KPI attainment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing, with bakery/food experience.
• At least 3+ years of supervisory leadership experience.
• Ability to meet KPIs and drive accountability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production workflows to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Coach associates and provide actionable performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, USDA, and BRC standards.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocation to optimize schedules.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and sanitation to resolve bottlenecks.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance safety, reduce waste, and throughput.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and performance documentation.
