Job summary

Palermo's Pizza is seeking a Bakery Lead to coordinate daily bakery operations, coach team members, and help ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. The role centers on hands-on leadership on the production floor in a West Milwaukee facility.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and a focus on food safety and quality. This 3rd shift position includes overtime as needed and opportunities for growth within the bakery team.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience, preferably bakery/food production.
• Ability to coordinate activities and support others to hit production goals.
• Basic math, reading and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities on assigned bakery lines to support production schedules.
• Troubleshoot operational issues related to quality, output, and efficiency.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to bakery associates.
• Assist with onboarding and training activities.
• Monitor material usage and communicate concerns appropriately.
