FURLANI FOODS, LLC is seeking a Bakery Team Lead in Oak Creek, WI to manage a high-speed packaging line and a 11-15 person team. You will partner with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and a Lean mindset, with opportunities to grow within a new state-of-the-art facility and benefit from robust training and development programs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with a problem-solving mindset.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles (training provided).
• Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production on high-speed packaging lines.
• Coach and develop a team of 11-15 associates and collaborate with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance.
• Drive operational excellence by reducing downtime and improving OEE with Lean methods.
• Ensure safety and compliance with GMP, SQF, and HACCP protocols.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve workflows through continuous improvement initiatives.
