Job summary

Tony’s Market is seeking a Bakery Production team member to bake, finish, and decorate a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts. You will follow recipes, adjust ingredients, and apply decorations and finishes as requested.

Responsibilities include measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, shaping pastries, baking, and monitoring ovens. Maintain inventory, ensure safety standards, and participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Pastry and baking experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to follow recipes and adjust ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Apply glazes, icings, or toppings to baked goods.
• Decorate cakes and bakery items per recipes and requests.
• Measure and weigh ingredients for batters, doughs, fillings, and icings.
• Mix ingredients using bowls and mixers; adjust quantities as needed.
• Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough for various pastries.
• Place dough in pans and bake in ovens.
• Set oven temperatures and monitor baking times.
• Observe product color and adjust temperature and humidity.
• Order materials and check quality to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of finished goods; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Complete special projects as assigned and uphold company policies.
