Job summary

Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Bakery Production position in Wisconsin. You will be trained to operate bakery equipment and contribute to production from start to finish.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays from 2:30pm to 10:30pm. Basic math, detail orientation, and the ability to work in a noisy, warm environment are required. Prior production or baking experience is a plus.

• Willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks; work well alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate bakery equipment from start to finish under supervision.
• Maintain sanitation and health standards; follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to work schedule: Mon–Fri with some Saturdays 2:30pm–10:30pm.

Job description

Join our Bakery Production crew where you will be trained to operate the various pieces of bakery equipment used to make these delicious products from start to finish.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Qualifications: Accurate/detail orientated; work in a fast-paced production environment; basic math aptitude; work well alone/as part of team; willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks; work in a noisy environment frequently; work in a safety conscious environment; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards. Prior production experience is a plus. Prior experience in baking is a plus.

Physical qualifications: stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist constantly; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F; kneel/squat occasionally; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally; lift/carry 15 pounds to 72 inches occasionally.

• Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
• A year end cash bonus - 40% of profits shared with our coworkers
• 2 Weeks Vacation within 1st year of employment
