Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Bakery Production Associate in Ashland, OH. This entry-level role supports daily manufacturing operations through rotating production positions to maintain efficient workflow, safety, and quality across the plant.

Team members gain exposure to multiple production processes, with training and cross-skilling opportunities. Overtime and weekends may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to rotate tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Remove damaged items and store or dispose properly.
• Perform visual packaging inspections for accuracy and dates.
• Stack cartons or trays onto pallets using proper patterns.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move finished goods.
• Assist operators and other staff to maintain line efficiency.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools and work areas per GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Follow JSAs, plant policies and food safety procedures.
• Communicate with teammates and leadership for smooth shift transitions.
• Participate in cross-training to support flexibility across areas.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues for improvement.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
