Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a general worker at our Van Nuys, CA bakery to support the shaping, slicing, and flow of product through proofer and oven systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You will work 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with weekend availability, and earn $19.75–$21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to work in high temperature environments.
• Good teamwork and attention to quality and safety.
• Reliable and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Support final forming, slicing, and product alignment to ensure quality and flow
• Monitor movement on proofer plates and oven discharge conveyors
• Maintain clean, foodsafe oven and proofer areas
• Assist Oven Operators in controlling the Proof Box and Oven systems
• Ensure cutting tools are safe and disposed of per GMPs
• Complete accurate data entry and documentation
• Identify and report contamination risks or safety issues immediately
