Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking a Mixer and Ingredient Preparer for our Van Nuys, CA bakery. You will scale, prepare, and mix ingredients according to the recipe to ensure dough quality, food safety, and production efficiency.

This role requires following recipes, operating Rheon Line, monitoring dough texture, maintaining inventory, and keeping equipment sanitized. Shift is 1st, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, hourly rate $20.75–$22.55, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50-lb bags and move heavy dough bowls.
• Ability to follow approved recipes and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scale ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Operate and monitor mixing processes to achieve required time, temperature, and dough characteristics.
• Verify dough texture and consistency to ensure targeted quality standards.
• Monitor Rheon Line capacity to ensure dough mixes align with production limits.
• Maintain ingredient inventory control, including proper storage and cooler organization.
• Document mixing data accurately and maintain clean, sanitized mixing equipment and work areas.
• Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance by maintaining a clean workspace and reporting potential contamination or safety concerns.
