Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is hiring for an Operator 3, Bakery- Warehouse at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. You will oversee inventory flow, operate forklifts safely, and ensure timely shipments across the facility.

With a focus on accuracy and GMP compliance, you will support production, manage inventory movement, and coordinate storage for ingredients, packaging, and finished goods, while following safety regulations and maintaining documentation in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Valid forklift license and safe forklift operation knowledge.
• Ability to read schedules, safety regulations, and operating instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to lift/mallet/palletize materials in a cold/frozen warehouse environment.
• Documentation in English clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate receiving, storage, inventory, and shipment of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods using SAP.
• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and stage materials in accordance with warehouse standards.
• Support order fulfillment by preparing, picking, and staging customer orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and ensure proper rotation of materials using FIFO.
• Coordinate inventory storage locations, warehouse organization, and freezer/cooler placements.
• Communicate equipment issues, safety risks, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant work environment.
