Job summary

Honolulu Cookie Company seeks a Bakery Utility Prep to support all bakery operations in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role is full-time and focuses on food safety, quality, equipment operation, and sanitation.

You will work on production lines, measure ingredients, monitor line speeds, perform basic maintenance, and assist with daily cleaning, opening and closing procedures, and team huddles.

Qualifications

• High level verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period.
• Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions.
• Possesses basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Capacity to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and exemplifies behaviors aligned with company core values.
• Operates production equipment safely following line rate, time, and speed controls.
• Monitors production line, adjusts weights and speeds to meet specs.
• Measures, portions, and weighs ingredients accurately.
• Maintains sanitary production areas and assists in cleaning and maintenance.
• Follows opening and closing procedures including cleaning and securing areas.
• Attends daily group huddles and participates in production as needed.
