Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a bakery/kitchen team member to prepare bakery items, maintain displays, and ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout shifts. You will label items, assist with inventory, and support both kitchen and front-of-house operations to ensure excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities include following Perkins standards, using FIFO, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in a high-pressure kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in house training.

Responsibilities

• Bake – prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications.
• Display – set up and maintain the display cases.
• Clean – follow proper sanitation procedures and keep areas clean and organized.
• Ensure items are portioned as specified by recipes and use FIFO.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures concerning food handling, rotation, and storage.
• Assist front of house with cleanliness of bakery cases and guest service.
