Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is hiring a bakery/kitchen team member to prepare bakery items, maintain display cases, and uphold food safety standards. You will work under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty to maximize guest satisfaction and ensure quality throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include baking, display setup, cleaning, portion control, FIFO usage, and collaboration with front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, safety and customer service basics taught in-house.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Bake – Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications.
• Display – Set up display cases and assist with samples and merchandising.
• Clean – follow sanitation procedures in kitchen, walk-ins and storage areas.
• Ensure items are portioned accurately and prepared per recipes.
• Utilize FIFO to manage product freshness.
• Provide guest service and assist front-of-house staff as needed.
