Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Bakery Associate to prepare items per our recipes and standards, while helping manage costs and maintaining kitchen cleanliness for great guest experiences. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate recipe execution.

The position reports to the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty and supports display setup, sanitation, and timely production during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Sanitation and safety knowledge that can be taught in-house.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Bake – Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications.
• Display – Set up and maintain display cases and samples.
• Clean – Maintain cleanliness of bakery prep and storage areas and equipment.
• Ensure products are portioned and prepared as specified by recipes.
• FIFO usage when preparing items.
• Assist front of house staff with cleanliness and guest service.
