Job summary

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates must be able to work in environmental extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands.

Responsibilities

• Sorts baked products and only packs items that meet specifications.
• Sets aside products not meeting specifications for resale or donation.
• Ensures correct packaging and labeling of bakery products.
• Handles cases and packaging equipment through the line.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly; sweeps floors and maintains a safe workspace.
• Fills out company logs on a daily basis.
• Cooperates on safety and health in the work area.
