Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Packing Team Member to ensure products from the Bakehouse are packed to specifications and meet quality standards. The role involves adhering to USDA/FDA guidelines, maintaining logs, labeling accurately, and following safety procedures.

Expect a rotating schedule including nights and weekends, with typical 8-hour shifts. Candidates should be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and accurately weigh, measure and count products.

Qualifications

• Understand and adhere to Bakery procedures and policies.
• Follow USDA, FDA logs and FSMA, HACCP requirements.
• Maintain accurate packaging, labeling, batch and date logs.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and train on equipment.
• Arrive on time and work rotating shift incl. nights/weekends/holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• The packing team member packages products according to set specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure correct labeling, dates and case quantity for all items.
• Requisition products and packaging supplies as needed daily.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and handle equipment properly.
