Job summary

Furlani Foods Corporation in Oak Creek, WI seeks a Logistics and Material Handler Lead to oversee material handling, inventory control, shipping and receiving. You will develop your team, drive warehouse efficiency, and champion food safety and lean practices.

You will lead daily operations, enforce safety standards, and partner with Production, QA, Maintenance and Planning to ensure a smooth material flow in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a logistics or warehousing team.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (QAD) and handheld RF terminals.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of the Logistics and Material Handler team.
• Ensure materials are received, staged, and shipped in line with production needs.
• Drive inventory accuracy and data integrity in ERP (QAD).
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance and Planning to meet schedules.
• Lead Lean and 5S initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and safety.
