Kennie's Market's Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager in Biglerville, PA to lead bakery operations, ensure product quality and outstanding customer service, and work with the Store Manager on merchandising and planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow various instructions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve goals set for the department in sales and gross profit.
• Maintain and control supply and payroll expenses, inventory and waste.
• Follow through on correct accounting procedures: invoices, transfers, inventories, etc.
• Order sufficient quantities of raw materials and correctly price products.
• Ensure quality and freshness of products with proper rotation.
• Direct stocking, display and rotation of bakery products with eye appeal.
• Coordinate with Store Manager on merchandising, planning and scheduling, sales trends, problems and improvements.
• Maintain a sanitary department on the sales floor, cases, coolers and back room.
• Ensure bakery staff follow company policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper and preventative maintenance of all equipment.
• Obey safety standards and cooperate with other departments during promotions.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
