Qualifications

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Reading, writing and speaking ability for customers and employees.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to calculate discounts, interest and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Achieve goals set for the department in sales and gross profit.
• Maintain and control supply and payroll expenses, inventory and waste.
• Directs the stocking, display and rotation of bakery products.
• Work with Store Manager on merchandising, planning and scheduling.
• Maintain a sanitary department on the sales floor, cases/back room areas.
• Follow proper accounting procedures: invoices, transfers, inventories.
• Cooperate with other departments during promotions.
• Perform other appropriate duties as directed by the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.
