Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful experience in the bakery operation (i.e. merchandising, ordering, inventorying, and pricing).
• Must be ServSafe certified.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.
• Ability to display initiative and work with limited supervision.
• Complete training in the bakery operation.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.

Responsibilities

• Provide an open door atmosphere conducive to high associate morale and excellent customer service.
• Promote the company image as a service-oriented operation with courteous, friendly, and efficient service.
• Resolve customer complaints to the full satisfaction of the customer.
• Order, receive, and unload truck; store, price, date, rotate and stock product and prepare product for display and sale.
• Keep bakery ingredients rotated and follow first in, first out inventory practices.
• Ensure wage and hour policies are adhered to and schedule work within budget.
• Maintain department merchandising standards in cooperation with store management.
• Proof dough products, bake breads and cookies, and prepare bakery products per guidelines.
