Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily supervision. The role emphasizes customer service, department merchandising, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety standards.

You should have at least two years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, be flexible for nights/weekends/holidays, and communicate well with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with customers and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in supervising the Bakery Department operations.
• Manage and merchandise the department for productivity and profit.
• Order and inventory controls and supervise Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays; monitor incoming cases for damage.
• Ensure excellent customer service and sanitation guidelines are followed.
