Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery
• Possesses a food handling license
• Previous experience working with the public
• Proper baking skills and sanitation knowledge
• Ability to read and understand recipes and measuring quantities

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation of all bakery products in the Bakery Department and ensures SOPs are followed
• Greet customers and maintain customer service standards within the store
• Manage inventory, expenses, gross profits, and minimize shrink
• Train and develop Bakery Department associates and enforce loss prevention measures
• Maintain product quality, shelf stocking, price integrity, and proper merchandising
• Observe baking processes, adjust oven temperatures, humidity, and speeds as needed
• Set oven temperatures, mix ingredients, and prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or icings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct equipment maintenance
