Overview

If so, we need YOU to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Bakery Manager!

Responsibilities

The Bakery Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Bakery Department, including:

• Managing daily baking, production, and display of bakery products
• Supervising and monitoring product quality, inventory, and managing the bakery's budget
• Evaluating department operations to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and developing better practices
• Ensuring safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards are maintained
• Managing ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage of bakery supplies
• Executing merchandise rotation and display building

Additional responsibilities include inventory management, planning and ordering to maximize sales, team engagement and development, attendance at meetings, hiring and promotion decisions, performance management, scheduling, communication of standards and policies, and leading a team to deliver quality products and service. The Bakery Manager may also serve as a Key Carrier or act as Manager on Duty as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old with 2+ years retail grocery experience
• Be dependable, reliable, and flexible with schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude
• Possess good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Be able to answer phones, take orders, and perform general housekeeping
• Operate bakery equipment safely and accurately
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs., and adhere to safety and health regulations, including maintaining a Food Handlers permit
• Have knowledge of reports, sales, and financial goals
