Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Must pass exam/test for acceptance into Apprenticeship program.
• Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able to attain basic Maintenance skills.
• Able to attain basic computer skills.
• Ability to work off ground level with safety training.
• Experience in a bakery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop safety requirements and mechanical skillsets to meet qualified mechanic standards.
• Complete required coursework to develop maintenance skillsets.
• Learn to perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment.
• Assist in inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Learn to repair/replace components on motors, pumps, conveyors and ovens.
• Document work orders and ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
