Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Hudson, NH is seeking a Bakery Department lead to oversee bakery operations in the absence of management, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain product knowledge across rolls, desserts, cakes, and more.

• Lead department operations in absence of manager per standard practices.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Use store systems for Scheduling, Productivity Management, CAO and RF Unit.
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Meet or exceed all applicable Management Planning guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge in all bakery areas (rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, platters).
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed personal appearance; comply with policy.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and throughout the organization.
• Support company safety standards; communicate needed repairs; keep area free from debris and hazards.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
