Les Jours International Corp. is seeking a Baker (NSO) to support the successful launch of new franchise bakery locations in Fort Lee, NJ. This on-site role covers baking, cake decoration, and sandwich preparation, ensuring brand standards during openings.

The candidate will train store bakery staff, monitor product quality, and assist with inventory and initial orders. Proficiency in Excel is expected, with domestic travel for openings required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen, or food service environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
• Willingness to travel domestically to support new store openings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site operational support for new store openings across baking, cake decoration, and sandwich stations.
• Assist with decorating cakes and other desserts to meet brand guidelines.
• Support local teams in implementing food safety protocols and quality standards.
• Train and educate store bakery staff and kitchen managers on standard procedures and product quality expectations.
• Monitor product quality and report issues during the opening phase with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure equipment is used properly.
• Track and report store readiness, training progress, and QC metrics to HQ.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with initial orders.
• Use Excel or similar tools for data entry and reporting during setup.
