Job summary

Madison College seeks a Bakery Lab Coordinator (Part-time) to support the Bakery program at Truax Campus. You will ensure labs are prepared, safe, and fully equipped for daily instruction, and operate the retail bakery storefront with focus on customer experience.

Responsibilities include inventory, procurement, equipment maintenance, and enforcing safety standards. This role supports students and faculty in a collaborative, hands-on learning environment through May 31, 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Diploma (or higher) in a related field.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains lab spaces for daily instruction.
• Oversees lab operations and communicates with users for smooth function.
• Oversees retail bakery storefront operations and customer experience.
• Maintains lab equipment and coordinates repairs, ensuring safety compliance.
• Manages procurement and inventory, tracks usage and budgets.
• Ensures adherence to policies and safety regulations; updates lab procedures.
