Job summary

Madison College is seeking a Nursing Laboratory Coordinator to lead the nursing skills lab at the Truax Campus. You will ensure all equipment, supplies and software are ready for classes, and provide technical leadership to faculty and students.

The role includes purchasing, budgeting, and maintaining safe, organized lab spaces. Open practice hours and support for clinical rotations are key components of the position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience; 2 years as a nurse.
• Experience with purchasing and budgeting for labs.
• Ability to train faculty and students on lab tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains lab spaces with equipment and materials.
• Oversees lab operations, scheduling, and staffing.
• Maintains lab equipment and safety standards.
• Manages procurement and inventory within budgets.
• Supports open lab hours and clinical rotation prep.
