Job summary

Jerry’s Foods Eden Prairie is seeking a part-time bakery associate to greet customers, prepare donuts, cakes and breads, and help keep the display cases stocked. The role includes light to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within the team.

Pay starts on a progressive scale from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience; benefits include store discount, employee assistance programs, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, supports customer service across the team.
• Experience in a bakery environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of pastries, breads, ovens, and good food handling.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers.
• Prepare bakery products including donuts, cakes, and breads.
• Fill and rotate cases and displays; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary store.

Key responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Prepare bakery products including a variety of donuts, cakes, and breads
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep our shelves full
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
