Job summary

Magnolia Bakery in California is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead our team, uphold brand standards, and deliver warm, attentive service and quality products.

You will partner with the manager on duty to schedule breaks, train staff, handle opening and closing, and ensure clear communication and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisory experience in food service or retail, strong leadership, and a commitment to teamwork and customer care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience overseeing 10+ employees in food service or retail.
• Strong leadership to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, supervisory and customer service skills.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Energetic, high pace, able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Adheres to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with the manager on duty to support, direct and motivate staff.
• Maintain open communication with management and staff for smooth bakery operations.
• Assist management with scheduling of breaks and meals; train staff on policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service in person or on the phone.
• Lead by example and promote teamwork within the bakery.
• Ensure exceptional service by greeting customers and maintaining product knowledge.
• Resolve customer problems with urgency.
• Develop development plans for FOH employees to reach full potential.
