Job summary

Aspire Bakeries USA in Stockton, CA seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to support safe and reliable operation of bakery equipment. You will assist with repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, steam, and hydraulic systems to maintain production readiness.

Shift mix includes 1st‑3rd shifts with weekend availability; hourly rate of $36.23. 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and PLC skills preferred; U.S. bakery environment experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, welding, refrigeration, pneumatic, steam, and gearbox systems.
• Foundational PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in bakery production environments.
• Must be available to work weekends and adapt to seniority‑based scheduling.
• Ability to obtain respirator certification and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and repair of bakery equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Maintain tools, work areas, and serviced equipment in sanitary and safe condition with guards in place.
• Follow maintenance standards to support consistent, food‑safe production and continuous improvement.
• Communicate equipment concerns promptly to mechanics, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Build foundational knowledge of bakery equipment operation, fermentation systems, and bun production processes.
• Support compliance with safety requirements, including respirator certification and PPE usage.
• Ability to work in hot production environments and freezer conditions.
• Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.
