Job summary

White Castle in Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running smoothly in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will repair proofer, oven, cooling tunnel, spiral freezer, HVAC systems, and related machinery while following strict safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of general maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in refrigeration, electrical and programmable controllers; 480V; hydraulics, pneumatics, high pressure pumps, air compressors, welding, fabrication; carpentry, plumbing, pipefitting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment including proofer, oven, cooling tunnel, spiral freezer, building and other equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment during production and non-production hours.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Observe and diagnose equipment malfunctions and PLC issues.
• Assemble and disassemble production equipment; design and fabricate specialty items as needed.
• Follow all safety rules including LOTO, arc flash, OSHA guidelines; participate in training; maintain parts/inventory.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers; provide training to new team members.
