Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations, ensure product quality, and drive team performance. You will oversee schedules, training, and customer orders while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires 3+ years of baking or 1+ year bakery management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be eligible to work in the United States and speak English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years baking experience or 1+ year bakery management experience.
• Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients (Mexican, Central American, and American pastries, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and mentor team members.
• Experience with bakery equipment, ovens, and tools.
• Basic computer and math skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery department daily operations, quality, and team performance.
• Greet and assist customers with bakery orders and ensure exceptional service.
• Prepare, bake, decorate breads, pastries, and cakes with consistency.
• Merchandise products, rotate stock, maintain fresh cases.
• Audit pricing, codes, and invoices; monitor ovens and equipment.
• Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Mentor employees and foster a safe, respectful workplace.
• Handle additional duties to support store success.
