Qualifications

• 3+ years of baking experience or 1+ year bakery management experience.
• Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients across Mexican, Central American, and American pastries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with bakery equipment, ovens, and tools.
• Basic computer and math skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English; legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example: write schedules, delegate tasks, train, and evaluate bakery staff.
• Greet customers and assist with bakery and cake orders, ensuring extraordinary service.
• Prepare, bake, and decorate breads, pastries, and cakes with consistent quality.
• Merchandise products, rotate stock, and maintain attractive bakery cases.
• Audit pricing, codes, and tares; monitor ovens and proofers; manage inventory.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and bakery safety programs; ensure compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment; support a positive team culture.
• Mentor employees and support store success; perform other duties as needed.
