Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sanitation courses or on-the-job training in food safety is a plus.
• One or more years of related bakery or retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, and profitability.
• Lead a team and greet customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist customers with finding products and heavy items.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Coordinate scheduling and daily work plans with store leadership.
• Oversee ordering, replenishment, pricing, and invoicing.
• Analyze weekly/monthly sales trends and plan promotions.
• Ensure proper temperatures, storage, and freshness to minimize shrink.
• Troubleshoot bakery equipment and coordinate maintenance.
• Conduct department inventory and pre-orders.
• Maintain dress code, hygiene, and company policies.
• Support other store areas and special projects as needed.
