Job summary

SpartanNash in Ottawa, Ohio is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate to help prepare and produce bakery and deli offerings. You will package, label, and merchandize items to plan quality and display standards while maintaining accurate stock in the backroom.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and basic math skills, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Safety, PPE, and food-handling guidelines are required daily.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and understanding documents is required.
• Basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products to production plan.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products per flight plan and merchandising standards.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products, rotating and dating cases.
