Responsibilities

• Provide fresh products in correct portion size.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and instructions.
• Measure, mix ingredients with kitchen utensils.
• Label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and sell-by dates.
• Use kitchen equipment (stove, scale, fryer, steamer).
• Label, stock department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to department manager.
• Know store layout to locate products.
• Stay current with ads.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions.
• Maintain inventory awareness.
• Ensure proper temperatures and logs.
