The Kroger Co. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) to deliver exceptional customer service and assist the department manager in achieving sales and quality goals while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You will prepare items per customer requests, offer samples, inform customers of specials, maintain proper temperatures, and ensure freshness and accurate portions, all while supporting a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualificações

• Customer service skills are essential.
• Effective communication with customers and team members is required.
• Basic math skills are needed for handling transactions and measurements.
• Ability to obtain a current food handler permit once employed.

Responsabilidades

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will be able to inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
