Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials and ensure products are fresh and properly portioned.
• Maintain correct temperatures and follow food safety guidelines; keep logs up to date.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and assist with ordering/shipping discrepancies.
• Assist customers and respond to questions about products sold within the department and store.
