Job summary

Harps Bakery/Deli Clerk role involves supporting department operations, from staffing and readiness to maintaining display standards and inventory control. You will help with replenishment, receiving, invoicing and back stock, while ensuring food safety and proper preparation across fresh counters.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous work experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Bakery/Deli Department Operations - support with staffing, readiness, policies and procedures, inventory preparation and cleanliness.
• Replenishment & Inventory Procedures - ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and back stock.
• Merchandising & Sales Floor Standards - stocking, displays, signing and department zoning.
• Fresh Food Preparation & Production - maintaining food safety standards and preparation requirements.
• Problem Solving - define issues clearly and use logic to obtain answers.
• Safety/Quality Orientation - emphasize high quality and safety in procedures.
