Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products ordered and proper portion sizes.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to customers to meet needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines and follow temperature logs.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and check inventory accuracy.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain logs.
• Maintain a welcoming environment and promote exceptional customer service.
